This vintage Málaga tavern atmosphere, with its stone walls, wooden tables, and decor evoking times past, created a warm and welcoming space where you could spend a pleasant time surrounded by family, friends, or even acquaintances who shared that tradition.

One of the highlights of this winery was its Málaga wines with designation of origin, renowned for their quality and authentic flavor. Visitors could enjoy them accompanied by one of its typical tapas, prepared with homemade recipes that conveyed Málaga's traditions and popular culture. The saturation of similar establishments and high rental prices have made it difficult for places as traditional as Las Garrafas to continue. The center has undergone a transformation dominated by chains, trendy businesses, and more modern offerings, sometimes leaving these spaces steeped in history and roots forgotten. In 2014, this iconic establishment was replaced by the famous Morrisey's pub, which represented a radical change in the concept of the place, opting for a more modern and distinct style, aimed at a different audience. Although many mourn the disappearance of Las Garrafas, it is also a reflection of how the city is evolving and how traditional businesses must adapt or give in to new trends and market needs.
