Rosario Pino Bolaños was born in Málaga, Calle Refino nº 26 in 1870.
One of the most important actresses of the 20th century in Málaga who was born very close to the Teatro Cervantes.
She became one of the great ladies who filled the theatres. We can say that she also participated in silent films and that she practically died on the stage.
She was one of the favourites of the writer Jacinto Benavente, performing his works.
In 1906 she founded her own theatre company with Enrique Borrás and Emilio Thuiller.
It is believed that there was rivalry between her and María Guerrero, although later publications deny this.
She died in Madrid in 1933 at the age of 63.
